Paper Craft…. Quilling

Check this out

This paper craft is called Quilling. You need quilling paper- 1/8″, a quilling needle tool & slotted tool, circle template board, straight pins, tweezers, scissors and craft glue. The concept is that you use a small tool and curl and glue paper to create cool shapes. Very time consuming but very cool…. Sort of a lost art!

As always thanks for reading!

Elysium Touch Massage

My hips have been killing me lately so I finally gave into, my friend Mariah Neesons, suggestion of a massage. GLAD I DID!! I have had many massage therapist friends over the years and still never listen to the advice and get massaged regularly. First I must say if you hope to just leave feeling “relaxed” tell Mariah before you start. When she askes “is anything troubling you?” She means, “I am really going to work that free for you, breath deap!”

My hips feel great, and I am reminded to take care of myself. My day was changed…. I even forgot about an appointment. OH NO… :( Thankfully they did not appear to mind, and they shopped while I scurried downtown. Heh heh….

Massage = Good

Busy Crazy Life = Bad

Of course I am kidding, I really do wish how ever that I would be smart and visit Mariah much more often. Take care of yourself, life is short!

Oh yeah and make sure to Watch “Slumdog Millionaire” by Danny Boyle

The Art House

A few weeks back we delivered a paper tree to a client in Pullman Washington. They had recently bought a chunk of land and on it held a WSU senior project. An art house. This house was three stories high and made out of all recycled stuff. They had invited us to bring the boys and OH did they LOVE it. Imagine the tree houses they have built in their heads!

Death three days ago

I did not open the office today until very late. Saturdays I try to only be “available,” I checked facebook, which I love and check daily to see how everyone is. My friend lost her husband 3 days ago. He was a fit man, early 30s, with a healthy lifestyle. He lived a fervent life filled with passion and joy. His existence changed lives of many people. He died instantly and the reason is unknown.

This subject is fresh on my mind because I am reading Team of Rivals, by Doris Kearns Goodwin, which is an account of Abraham Lincoln and Civil War. Life in the 1850s was different than we can imagine, yet oh so similar. Still worldwide people live in cold winters with no electricity and children die. People are left with out food and multitudes die. In 1850 it was commonly believed that fruits and vegetables where not needed, death resulted. Strange medical practices such as thinking depression came from digestive problems where treatment was severe.  What will they say of our diseases that kill the masses in 150 years?

Death is something I have already had to face….I no longer fear it, I face the fear associated with, and many times weep. I weep more for the unwarranted death, the multitudes of unwarranted dead. Many who buy into the “Great Global Warming Swindle” are hard from lies telling them there are too many people anyways. This lie is of course coming from the same people who, no doubt, in 1850 would have had slaves…… in many ways they still do.

Lesson: Live life to its fullest! Really it is that simple…. Love
